Kabarnya pernikahan pasangan ini, hanya dihadiri oleh masing-masing keluarga Jennifer dan Irfan. Walaupun sebelumnya diketahui bahwa penikahan tersebut akan terganjal dengan isu perbedaan agama, tapi keduanya tetap membuktikan cinta mereka.
Menurut manajer Jennifer Kurniawan, Erin, bahwa dalam pernikahan ini keluarga Irfan menyerahkan keputusan kepada Irfan. "Masalah perbedaan agama kami sempat diskusi karena Undang-Undang Pernikahan di sini sulit, akhirnya mereka memilih di luar," kata Erlin dalam sebuah jumpa pers di kawasan Kemang, Jum'at (8/7/2011).
Sang menejer mengakui bahwa dirinya belum mengetahui bagaimana prosesi pernikahan Jeniffer dan Irfan berlangsung. "Saya kurang tahu. Yang pasti pakai konsep internasional karena gaun disponsori May May Bridal," kata Erlin. Dia juga menambahkan bahwa Jennifer memiliki kecendrungan mengadakan resepsi di Indonesia. "Tanggalnya belum pasti."
